Project site: Adjunction of the non-public railway track of the Kalevala woodworking factory to the Tomitsa station of the Oktyabrskaya railway.

The project will enable the delivery of the finished products of the Kalevala woodworking factory to final consumers by means of a common railway network with minimal costs. Construction involves 2 stages.

The first stage of the project involves putting into operation a section of the railway track for OSB boards to be loaded, weighed and sent to the Tomitsa station.

Second stage of the project involves putting into operation a section of the railway track for unloading roundwood with a total volume of 265,5 thousand tons per year.

Finished products will be sent to the railway stations of the October, Moscow, Northern railways, to Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod.

The projected track is located in Petrozavodsk city district, 550 m east of Shuyskoye highway, in the area of the gas dispenser station.
